The Half-Frame Camera That’s Been Living in My Pocket
Olympus Pen EE3
My Olympus Pen EE-3 basically lives in my coat pocket right now, ready to grab whatever fleeting light the Irish winter throws my way. I just finished a roll of Ilford XP2 400, and I’ve tried to lean into shooting diptychs, thinking in pairs to tell a bigger story with every two clicks. Even though the camera has developed some funky light leaks I need to sort out, the narrative flow and that high-contrast film stock made the imperfections feel totally worth it. Looking forward to testing more film on the camera and sharing with you all.
Slán and thanks for reading,
Tony.

I've always found this format interesting and an interesting challenge, and have tried it in the past but via digital collage with pics shot in succession from different views at the same place and time, and sometimes in threes instead of twos. Something to experiment with in the future. In a weird way it can be kind of like a few (milli)seconds of motion picture, but not by creating the motion of a single subject.
Those are some not at all disturbing light leaks tbh
